These four giant sequoia trees standing on Generals Highway near the southern edge of Giant Forest were named by George Welsh in 1919. Sequoia National Park was established in 1890 in the southern Sierra Nevada mountains. This "Shelf Sitter" souvenir is handcrafted in 3/4" thick wood in Wooster, Ohio. The story of the Four Guardsman in Sequoia National Park is printed on the back. Size is 6¼" wide and 4½" tall.
