This plush Fisher Cat created by The Petting Zoo® is made from recycled plastic water bottles. The fisher, not a cat, but a member of the weasel family, is a North American mammal with a varied diet, hunting skills, and adaptability in forests, contributing to the ecosystem balance. As few as 125 to 250 adult Pacific fishers were estimated to occur in the southern Sierra Nevada before the recent catastrophic wildfires. During the KNP complex fire os 2021, a significant portion of the critical fisher habitat burned at high severity in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Size is 19 inches long, 7 inches high.
